Synchronizing Check Relay atau Geganti Pasti Segerakan (ANSI 25)

Synchro Check Relay (ANSI No. 25)

Mesti tuan-tuan selalu jumpa relay ni kan? Kebanyakan multi function relay microprocessor/numeric sudah ada built-in dalam relay, masih ada juga yang jenis single function relay khas untuk synchro sahaja. Selalu digunakan untuk memberi permissive untuk CLOSE Breaker antara 2 punca berlainan.
Apa syarat-syarat untuk kita boleh synchro?
1. Voltan mesti lah sama
2. Phase angle mesti lah sama
3. Phase rotation mestilah pada arah yg sama
4. Frequency juga mesti lah sama
Tapi tuan-tuan tengok dalam protection relay, setting untuk function 25 ada beberapa typical setting yg ada. Ini adalah contoh untuk Siemens Reyrolle 7SR2244. Seperti pada gambar.

Voltage reference: Vab.
Ini bermakna reference digunakan adalah Voltage red (a) dan yellow (b) phase. Relay jenis ini mempunyai 2 voltage input (1 untuk incomer side - 4 wire (R, Y, B, N dan 1 lagi untuk bus bar - 2 wire sahaja). Jadi bila dipilih setting Vab, belah incomer automatic akan gunakan V_incomer (R-Y). Untuk voltage input 2, memandangkan hanya ada 2 wire sahaja, sambungan dari VT atau PT belah bus bar side harus lah juga menggunakan V_bus (R-Y). Jika tidak memang tidak akan synchro la sampai ke sudah.

Electrical Equipment Classification
In approximate terms the Explosion Protection Levels
(EPL) Ga, Gb, Gc correspond to the Equipment
Categories 1G, 2G and 3G which align with the Zones
0, 1 and 2. The latest IEC standards mean that nA
(non sparking) will become ec (for EPL increased -
zone 2); e (increased safety) will become eb (for EPL
high - zone 1) and d (flameproof) will become db (for
EPL high – zone 1). This terminology is mandatory
from 2018.

Job Sheet: To perform maintenance at Ring Main Unit (2 + 1) at Pencawang Elektrik Kg Jelutong
(RMU 2+1 means 2 feeder and 1 Tx)
Preparation at all substations
1. Wear complete arc flash PPE
2. Note any alarms, trips and conditions of switch gears
3. Ensure rubber mat is available at all time
4. Ensure that HT voltage stick and multimeter are in good working condition.
